Up in the Morning - May 23rd, 2024

Fall 2023 I lost direction of where I was headed. I was in a bad space. I almost died on Halloween. I was involved in a rollover accident and managed to walk away. I spent the next month importing all of my media from cassette and ADAT to my DAW.

I already considered releasing an LP of some old recordings earlier in the year. I saw this as an opportunity release a double vinyl LP.

I went to see my mom on Christmas eve and that was the last time I saw her alive. The album finished the mastering process when she passed away and hadn’t been pressed to vinyl yet. I added a dedication to her to the sleeve.
